5 BEST ROM-COM MOVIES ON NETFLIX

There’s something unique about romantic comedies. Their cinematography, storyline, screenplay everything is so different then other genres of movies. For those people who prefer to see the world through rose-colored glasses, there’s something that makes them so satisfying about romantic comedy. Perhaps, it’s maybe because it makes us believe that everything will work out just fine in our life too, by watching the happy ending of the movie. Even if the story line is predictable its plotlines are delightful to watch. If you have the same thinking about the rom com I must say it’s just fine…So if you are looking to binge watch something to take your mind off your busy schedule and relax you should watch these movies and have a great weekend.

1. TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE(2018): “To all the boys I’ve loved before”, is based on the novel with the same name. The cast of the film includes Noah Centineo and Lana Condor. While you are watching a romcom all you want is the perfect love story with the best storyline and screenplay. This movie is perhaps the best yet. This teen romantic comedy is enchanting. The story is based on a girl who in her teen writes letters to all her crushes in the growing years. The story shows her beautiful experience when the letters are received by the young men. It also has one of the oldest story lines of fake dating. The storyline will definitely leave you awe-struck. The actors have portrayed the characters perfectly and there is no doubt that this is one of the best rom com on Netflix Which one should surely watch with popcorns and coke.
2. Set it up (2018): Okay, I understand not everyone likes cliche romcom, If you like watching some light hearted rom com with a quickie romance then this film is something you should watch. It is about two assistants Harper and Charlie, who are tired of their workaholic bosses and to get relief from their work they set them up with each other. While they are parents trapping their bosses they develop a friendship based on mutual support and deep understanding between them. It is a simple plot with an interesting concept which many may relate to. The comedy is also on point and it does work in favour with the film. The actors in lead Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell have performed very well in their part and have a great chemistry between them. If you are looking for something simple then this movie is just for you which is available on Netflix.
3. KISSING BOOTH(2018): Yet another movie based on drama and cliche which most of the teens nowadays love to watch. This movie not only shows romance but a true friendship between Elle and lee and what a true friendship is like. The story is based on Elle and lee who are best friends since childhood and how their life changes when they get into their teens. The onscreen chemistry between Elle and Noah is a treat to watch. This Movie was designed to watch when you are tired and want to relax though it doesn’t have a strong storyline it truly makes the audience enjoy it. This movie is based on a novel which has the same name. So, if you are tired and want to sit back and enjoy a fun movie, just go and watch the movie on Netflix.
4. CRAZY, STUPID LOVE(2011): Just like the title says It is craziest, funniest and a very entertaining Rom-com movie ever. It’s the kind of film you would love to watch again. The writer of these has very well written the emotional aspects of love while cleverly turning it into a comedy. This movie will surely take you on a roller coaster ride from grabbing your heart out of sympathy while making you laugh out loud at the same time. The cast of these films includes one of my favourite actors Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell who have played their part very well. The cast also includes Emma stone’s and Julianne. Do yourself a favour and watch the film you won’t regret.
5. THE DUFF(2015): Unlike other movies this movie is a bit different. yes yes it is a romcom but not the typical type. If you are looking for something fun, romantic and not goofy, you should give it a try. It gives a very important message for every teen that every person is unique and everyone should embrace themselves. This movie will inspire you to be YOU. It is based on a novel with the same name. The cast of this movie includes Robbie Amell and Mae Whitman.
